North Akron Savings Bank is participating in the FDIC's Transaction Account Guarantee Program. Under that program, through December 31, 2009, all non interest-bearing transaction accounts are fully guaranteed by the FDIC for the entire amount in the account. Coverage under the Transaction Account Guarantee Program is in addition to and separate from the coverage available under the FDIC's general deposit insurance rules.

We've added an additional layer of security to our log in process called RSA Adaptive Authentication, a type of layered authentication. This helps ensure that your information is secure, protecting you from fraud and identity theft.

This extra layer of security will cause the Online banking screen to split into two pages - one page for entering your Access ID and a second page for entering your Password.

We never solicit confidential information through the Internet or e-mail without prior consent. We will never send e-mail which requires you to enter personal information directly into the e-mail, threaten to close your account if you do not take immediate action or provide personal information, ask you to reply by sending personal information, or ask you to enter your User ID, password, or account numbers into an e-mail or non-secure web page.
