Important Information Regarding the Conversion to Peoples Bank Online Banking

In preparation for our transition to Peoples Bank on October 24, 2014, a few changes will be made to online banking.

  • On October 9, 2014, we will no longer accept NEW enrollments to online banking to ensure a smooth transition to Peoples Bank.
  • Existing customers may continue to use Online Banking and Bill Pay services through Thursday, October 16, 2014. After this date, previously scheduled payments will be made, but no new payments may be scheduled. Internet Banking will be in "view only" mode beginning on this date so transfers or other modifications to online banking will not be able to be made and access to Bill Pay will be removed.
  • On Monday, October 27, 2014, you may access Online Banking and Bill Pay through Peoples Bank's website ( At this time, the "view only" mode will be turned off and you will be able to resume using Bill Pay as your history and payees will be converted automatically for you. After this date, you will no longer be able to access North Akron Savings Bank Online Banking or Bill Pay services.
  • More information, including your new login credentials, will be provided prior to the conversion. 


North Akron Savings Bank transaction history WILL NOT transfer to Peoples Bank Online Banking. Your last North Akron Savings Bank statement will be generated on October 24, 2014, and will show all transactions through that date. New transaction history with Peoples Bank will begin on October 25, 2014, and can be accessed through Peoples Bank Online Banking and your new monthly statement. We will never send e-mail which requires you to enter personal information directly into the e-mail, threaten to close your account if you do not take immediate action or provide personal information, ask you to reply by sending personal information, or ask you to enter your User ID, password, or account numbers into an e-mail or non-secure web page.
