Kurt Winebrenner Joins U of A College of Business Alumni BoardExecutive Vice President and COO Kurt Winebrenner was recently elected to the University of Akron's College of Business Administration Alumni Board. He was appointed for a three year term beginning July 1, 2008. In his new role, Winebrenner will promote the advancements and interests of the college, as well as the university, while helping with other key components.
2008 Cuyahoga Challenge - we dare you!North Akron Savings Bank is proud to underwrite this free program presented by CVNPA and the Cuyahoga Valley National Park (CVNP). The program is open to anyone and consists of a variety of beautiful trails that anyone can hike and several trails are suitable for running or walking with your dog. Participants who hike ten or more of the designated trails will receive a commemorative patch designed by a local artist, Chuck Ayers! The trails range from easy to difficult. Participants may hike the selected trails on his or her own or may attend ranger-led programs on qualifying trails. To qualify, trail segments must be hiked between June 1 and September 30, 2008. You may pick up an entry form at any of the park’s visitor centers or download an entry form at the CVNPA website. More detailed information on the trails or about the Cuyahoga Challenge can be found on the entry form.
CVNP covers 33,000 acres along the Cuyahoga River between Cleveland and Akron, Ohio. Managed by the National Park Service, CVNP combines cultural, historical, recreational and natural activities in one setting. For more information visit their web site
